I've attended and appreciation dinner by Adidas(M) @ The Gardens, MidValley last nite (13/12/2010). Every guest was given door gifts with contains a Mp3 Player courtesy of Sony(M) Sdn Bhd and an Adidas Shoes Bag. The theme for that night was Teen Idol and coincidently my hair looks like TaeYang...LOL~~!! *shame*....Anyway, 3 lucky prizes was sponsored by Sony includes:- 1 unit of Media Player(3rd Prize)....A camera, NEX-3A(2nd Prize) and a Sony Bravia LCD TV(Grand Prize).  Am I just lucky or what?? I've been summoned when Henry Golding(host) called number 3 which is the number printed on my lucky draw card. I'm drawn...Yes, I am!!! I was still peeling the shell of the prawn while my number was drawn...what a shame.?? I'm shock after all and Thanks to Henry....

Cwee's Salted Fish Fried Rice with Luncheon Meat and Eggs

Fried Rice~~~Fruit Juice~~~

The visual of my home cook salted fish fried rice. Not to be stingy, I added luncheon meat and eggs as part of the ingredients. It looks pretty plan from the view but it taste simply good. Not to over compliment, my gf like it very much and this also the most satisfying salted fish fried rice which I ever cook in my life...

Ingredients:

• 4 pcs of Eggs
• 2 pcs of Ikan Tenggiri Salted Fish
• 1/3 can of Luncheon Meat
• 400 grams of  white rice (preferably over night)
• 6 tbl spns of Oil (use separately)
• 4 tbl spns of Soy Sauce
• A pinch of salt
• A pinch of Ajinomoto

Thai food is indeed exotic and you can't even make a prediction how it taste. It's also one of the food that use/mix spices and cook them together. Spicy and sourish taste are the most common to be appeared in Thai foods. My Elephant which is located below the flats in Section 17, PJ.

Dinner time is always full with peoples that goes for family gathering or celebrations. Make sure reservations are made to prevent from not being seated.

Yum Mamuang

This is actually Thai salad which comes along with the mixture of green mango for its sourness, assorted vegetables, prawn , squids and myElephant's spicy dressings.This cost RM10 and it's superb for a before dinner appetizer.

Gaeng Phet Yaeng

Roasted duck curry with seasonal fruits such as Lychee/Pineapple/Rambutan/Avocado. Undeniable, this is superbly nice with rice which the duck meats are succulent in the spicy curry soup. This dish even come in 2 sizes; small for RM30 and big for RM50.

Snow Fish

Snow Fish aka Salt Baked Fish. This comes with their signature green chilli sauce and it's also one of the best seller. For this one, 30 minutes are needed for the preparation after its ordered. There are some garlics, lemon grass and some special leaves being stuff into the fish stomach to get rid of the fish's staleness. RM45 is being charged for this dish.

Jasmine Rice with Brown Rice

Rice are served in the mixture of Jasmine and Brown rice. It's chargeable for RM3 per serving.

Betty's Midwest Kitchen, Aman Suria

It was dinner again. For sure, pork burger are only served in non-halal restaurants. We've found 1 in Aman Suria and it's called Betty's Midwest Kitchen. They are serving varieties of burgers till steaks or some fish and chips. Btw, dinner's a busy time for their kitchen so make sure u're there early or reserve your tables.

Classical Meatloaf

This is the classical Midwest-style pork meatloaf served with mash potato, peas, onion relish and their own beer based dip. It's actually not as expected or it doesn't suit my taste bud and it really a stuffy dish if you're really hungry. My gf and Derek ordered this. It cost RM16.50 excluding taxes.

Juicy Lucy

SK ordered this. It's a hamburger with melted cheese core inside a beef and pork pattie, lettuce, tomato and onion relish served on a basket of fries. It cost RM13.50 and she chose iced peach tea for her drink too.

Cheeseburger

I chose cheeseburger.It's hamburger with grilled beef and pork pattie topped with bacon and sliced cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion relish served on a basket of fries. It cost RM15.50 and I chose iced peach tea for my drink too.

I also finished the unfinished meatloaf for Derek and it effin full with all the meats. It was a great dinner after all.

P/S: If you plan to visit this, make sure reservation is made or you're there early.

Dave's Cafe, One Utama

Yeah, it was dinner time and it was our celebration together. So, I've brought my gf to Dave's Cafe @ One Utama.

We ordered this..I've forgot the name but it's some salad with Pork Strips in it. It cost RM19 for an appetizer be it's something you must try if u happens to walk in.

Deep Fried Pork Knuckle

I ordered this for my main course and for me...it taste averagely but not disappointed. Its crispy on the outside and the meats are succulent inside. Yet,  I should have ordered the baby back ribs which it has been the all time favorites. This cost a RM54 excluding taxes.

Guiness Lamb Shank

My gf ordered Lamb Shank and it doesn't taste like it sounds. It's not recommended for any 1st timer and it disappointed the taste bud of mine. It cost RM41 and it does not worth the money. Anyway, dinner for both of us are way happy although we ordered Iced Lemon Tea for our drink and no dessert for the over stuff stomach.

Since I'm now representing Adidas in doing their sales and it's more appropriate to wear something with its brand. So, I've got myself a pair of Samba. It's in White and Gold with Size 11. It also cost me a price of RM299.

Serai @ Empire Shopping Complex

Our friend Althena visited us from JB last weekend. So, we had our gathering at Sunway Pyramid having lunch at Pasta Zanmai. Then, we had our shopping spree since its the Carnival Sale. 

Then, dinner was at a restaurant named Serai @ Empire Shopping Complex, Subang. Serai is also known as Lemongrass.

Kasturi Lime with Mint Leaves

I ordered this Kasturi Lime with Mint for my choice of drink. Althena ordered this as well and it's good with its cooling effect of the mint leaves.

Serai Nasi Lemak

It was really crowded that night and we didn't make any reservations but the kind Lady Boss spared us a reserved table. 
So, I ordered Nasi Lemak which I thought it will be easily serve. They kindly served along with the fried chicken with special spices and prawn sambal with egg and cucumber. The fried chicken was awesome and it's served with the price of RM 15 with tax excluded.

Serai Platter

My gf ordered this, Serai Platter which it was served with spiced fried chicken, deep fried honey squids and braised lamb calves. It's also served with achar (vege pickles). It cost RM 25 with tax excluded.

The Assam Drink

The Assam Drink which SinKeat ordered was not as expected. It taste differently from the Assam Jawa drink.

SK as well shared this one with Althena where they were saving their stomach for signature dish which I'll introduce in the next picture in a very serious manner.

Berry Pavlova

The Signature "Berry Pavlova" served end of our meal and this is the best dessert I ever had....I swear!!! I'm someone who are not really into cakes but after this piece where we shared till the very last bit and I'm still craving for more. It's a bit costly, RM 16/pc  but it really worth the money. Remember, don't doubt trying this....you'll be In-Loved with the whole cake.

If I were Alice, no doubt that I'll keep Umbrella Corporation always there without destroying it even if I could. Why?? Still dare to ask why?? If Umbrella Corporation being destroyed, means Milla Jovovich aka Alice won't be appear in anymore Resident Evil in the future and there will only be computers controlling characters like in the video games.

My dinner in the hotel....

I blog this while I'm having my delicious dinner on the hotel bed watching Travel and Livings where Andrew Zimmern is having a whole goat head including the eye balls. That did not disgust me and it added some more taste to my fried rice. Not to forget, the Fried Rice is damn cheap...It's only RM4.50 with an extra egg added.
